Veterans Helping Veterans
In the past year, CVMA LA Chapter 6-3 has donated over $4,000 to veterans in the local area. The association hopes to double that number in the coming year.
The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association is comprised of combat veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles as a hobby. Our mission is to support and defend those who have defended our country and our freedoms. Our focus is to help veteran care facilities provide a warm meal, clothing, shelter, and guidance, or simply to say "Thank You" and "Welcome Home."
The two businesses featured below represent some of the great things that can happen with a little help. Chapter 6-3 has donated $3,100.00 to each of these businesses to help with their work with veteran's causes. Hidden Haven trains service dogs for both returning vets and the civilian population. Our donation has been earmarked for the veteran side of what they do. Autobody Express of Bossier City has taken on the task of taking a damaged vehicle, fixing it up from top to bottom and donating it to a veteran needing transportation.
